Regret

Regret consumes.

Anger destroys.

Leaving an unfillable hole in the cold heart that lays there after the damage.

Drives me to the brink of insanity.

Distract myself or the thought plays in my head over and over again.

Destined to suffer alone.

Down a path of future bad decisions.

Never learning my lesson because I can face the truth.

Love was and most likely forever be just a figment of my imagination.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.
