Regrets & Promises

You'll regret the day when you lied to me in my face
You told me you love me and that you care, that hurt me when i saw that it was lies, you sprayed me with mace.
Promises that you would never make me feel alone, told me you wouldn't know what you would do if I no longer came back home.
I struggled to keep my composure when i saw how you acted, like I didn/t matter/ I'm a problem and that I wasn't your girl, you always getting distracted.
You left me hurt with tears running down my face, but then I realized yu're not a man, you're no angle God took your Grace.
I promise you I won't let you see me sweat, that you'll never see me make a fool of myself in front of you and you'll always be my regret.
I could make promises you could never keep, it won't be with you but it will be with someone who will never hurt me, make me cry or burn me.
Love me uconditionally, be over-protective of me, hold me, and never ignore me.
The regrets I have thought about since I left you, the promises that were broken when we started talking, now you just not worth the pain you left behind, someday I'll be happy and my future will be mine.
