Rehab

Rehab

That one word with two syllables

Never knew it got this bad

That one word

That changed my world

You've been in and out

But never truly went

You said you'd quit, for us

You didn't

The drinking got harder

The pouring got louder

I never got closer

Maybe a couple of feet- you noticed

Scarred

Not of you

Of the drink

It took grasp of you

Never let you go

Then one day

You went to the hospital

They told you it was your liver

You left

Left us mom, brother, and me for how long?

You left the drink- for a month, now for good

Last chance
