Reincarnation
Impervious as time
Fighting forward, never looking back
Trying to forget a victimless crime
A shattered milestone
Isolated
Everyone else blaming a hormone
Only to find there were people out there
Falling into more pieces than I
Trying to figure out how they got here, just the same
Split to make new holes
Stained glass window reconstruction
Painful broken seduction
Connecting to others far and wide
Written heirlooms
Stories and tales retold
Healing, lo and behold
The metamorphosis of a poet
Reborn in each line
Brought me something- sanity
Trivial to the rest of humanity
Soul, spirit, life
Returned to a corpse
Manifested within words
Reincarnated afterall
