Rejection
I worked so hard to please you
Worked day and night without a fight
Would forget to put on my clothes, leave my shoes
I was trying to be your red light
But, still you rejected me
Shooed me away like a flee
Didn’t even try to see
If it was worth being with me
But it’s fine, I’m ok
I just know nowadays
Not to let anyone try and play
My feelings today
