Rejection
I see you and my heart jumps,
They say your name and my stomach flutters.
I have a mindful to say to you but little confidence to say anything,
Because the thought of you rejecting me makes my stomach churn.
I want you as my own,
To call when I need you
And not just on a sexual basis.
I want you to be able to just call me to your room or you coming to me
Just to be in my presence.
I really want you to want me the same way that I want you.
To know that I am yours and yours alone makes me want to melt,
Melt like a ice cream cone on a hot July day in Baton Rouge,
Not like a Hershey Kisses Drop that melted in your forgotten pants pocket.
I want to be the one you write your songs about,
The songs about me being the one youve been looking for,
The chick thats gone be down for you
Down with you
And of course down on you.
There's little to no time of day that you dont go through my mind.
The one the thought that constantly floats around,
Am i on your mind as much as you are on mine?
Is the reasons you can't sleep because of you running in my mind?
What do you really see me as?
Would you really want me to be yours?
Little do you know,
I'll drop everyone for you,
Just to be with you.
No hoes on the side,
Just me, you and music.
I wonder if you know that I really like to be in your presence
That just that one thing I actually look forward to in my day.
If its just walking past me or sharig the elevator,
It makes me so happy.
I feel like a lovesick fan that you just completely overlook.
I don't like it but i until i open my mouth to say something to you
thats all ill get.
But I swear to the Big Man Upstairs that i wouldnt be able to accpet your rejection.
So when I finally open my mouth,
I can't do much but pray that you feel the same,
or something close to it so I won't break.
