Relationship

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

New English Translation

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,

Whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price.

Therefore glorify God with your body.

Relationship

My body is related to my wandering spirit and soul

Primarily my relationship with Christ is spirit to spirit

We cannot leave the others out as together follow Jesus

Even if we‘re strangely divided in this unusual marriage

If the body is dead because of sin that does not mean it’s buried

If my soul is wayward that does not mean it is gone

If my spirit is alive it will just show the difference

For it takes all three you know for the job to get done

Never forget my friend that my fleshy frame so-called

Is an earthy vessel that’s continuously molded and reformed?

Submissive for His being here will help us even tame the tongue

And will keep us from falling more as He forms us in Christ’s essence
