A burning inside.

Emotions forever churning.

Like every other teen, I'm not sure what it all means.

I've had a rough road.

Things weren't always perfect.

I hurt myself

Because I just couldn't deal.

But I needed something else.

Something to help me heal.

A pen put to paper.

In anger and in hate.

With these words gone, I was empty.

No more anger.

No more hatred.

For the first time I felt okay.

The words and phrases always spinning around.

Finally had a place, here on the ground.

It helped me to see, that I could be more.

More than ever was showed to me before.

It's okay to feel what I feel.

There's nothing wrong with me.

I can be something good.

I don't have to go insane.

A pen put to paper

Words flow from my hand.

I write because it helps me understand.

Things can be good and the future can be bright.

All my thoughts and ideas, that is why I write.
