Release
Thousands of people...
Mumbling
Talking quietly
Whispering
I stand silent
My hands over my ears
Surrounded by no one
But I cannot stop the words
The Words!
Oh! The dreadful words
They fill my ears
Echoing in my head,
The cause of all tears
They whisper... quietly
But thousand whispers build to a yell
A scream rips from my throat
I clutch my head
Begging for silence
My wish is granted
It all goes dark
I feel peace
