Release of Emotion

All of the feelings that are inside - the anger,

Frustration - want to come out, but there is no way.

Thousands of thoughts encompass the mind,

But there is just nothing to say.

Inside, the thoughts are sometimes too much,

With a flaming desire to release this rate,

So allow the mind to loosen its clutch.

Allow thoughts to pour like water onto the page.

The words that could not be spoken

Turn a blank page into a masterpiece.

The mind that once was broken

Is now returning to peace.

The thoughts that could not be released

Through the spoken word

Are sewn together piece by piece,

And on paper, they at last are heard.
