Someone told me years ago that I wouldn't amount to nothing

I told em nigga don't you know I'm relentless

He said there you go using those big words trying to sound all smart and shit

He asked, "What does that even mean

I said, "Spiritually, I'm elevated

Patience had my house key, so I waited

My heart was trapped in a heartstring, but I cut the ties and unwrapped all the suffering

Mentally, I'm drained but lyrically I keep pushing

A lion tamer couldn't tame me cuz I'm too savage

When the enemy creates havoc

Jehova Jihra is peace

All my pain he released

Freed me from bondage and delivered me from evil

That prison I was living in crumbled like the victory Jesus has over the Devil

I never give up

Cuz I have Kingdom blood coursing through my veins

I just pray to God my living ain't in vain

I can't get enough...of the Lord's love

I am relentless

I slay the beast with my fists

This conversation we're having is beneath me

The Father wrote my destiny"

The dude could do nothing but tremble and bow down

Then, this lady I knew from around

Applauded and gave me a standing ovation

She said, "That's wassup you are my motivation."

This conversation I was having was between me, myself, and I

The id, ego, and superego

Conscious, preconscious, and unconscious

Between two forces, two spirits

God and the Enemy

Right and wrong

Just and unjust

Angel and Demon

Good and evil

Two voices

But the one I listened to was the one less traveled by

The angel flew me home and patience gave me the key.
