The Relentless
We wander at night and are consumed by fire
the light is tiny and soft
soft like wings of powder
and the scent suffuses the air
with lasciviousness that we cannot attain
... our circles draw tighter and always
the light teases us,
hot and without mercy
we singe our hearts for you.
