Relentless Princess
Honesty.
Trust.
Communication.
Loyalty.
They had it so why can't I?
Why should I believe a word you say if you can't look me in the eye?
You don't get to treat me like toliet paper:
used only at your convenience and leave me feeling used and abused, disguised as love.
That isn't love. Love is treating me like the princess I am and in return treating you like the prince you are.
And, if by some miracle, we advance in our relationship, I might even make you my king one day.
The price of my love includes but is not limited to unconditional patience and acceptance for who I am, the ability to love me when I don't love myself, and fighting for me even on the days you don't want me.
I love you means pouring out my mind, emotions, body, and fears to you like water and hoping you won't leave me empty and dry without a cup to occupy.
I love you. Te amo. Je t'aime. I can say it in so many ways, within so many days, it leaves me in a daze.
But my words are only half the prize.
It's my actions that will leave you feeling like a winner.
I will prove to you that this isn't just as phase.
You set my mind ablaze, consumed with all the beautiful and tragic memories we've created from our respectful and compassionate love.
I love you means doing absolutely nothing with your significant other and wondering when it became your favorite past time.
