Reliance

The only thing that brings me bliss Is lack of knowledge; thoughts amiss. My head is buried in the dirt. A senseless limerick on my shirt. Without a sound, discerning mind, I might as well be deaf and blind. I'd like to point out, if I may, I'd never choose to be this way. See mom and dad were useless, too. And there are more. I promise you. We're everywhere, and I just bet That half the men that you have met Wont do a thing in their whole lives Except have children with their wives. It's up to you to use your smarts, Your education and your arts To keep this world spinning 'round. Use all the hope you've ever found. But you wont get that hope from me, 'Cause while you're working, I'll be free.
