Relight the Forge

One dream have many people had

And many questions does it add

For since we people had arrived

Toward this dream we all have strived

One cannot speak the wonders wrought

Of fires' blazing orange hot

Of steel once hammered with men's might

This craft which now has left the light

One, only one, now stands among

You all, whose hammer has yet sung

The song of metals gleaming bright

Like twinkling skies in starry night

If only I could chase this dream

And catch its secrets it would seem

That all would turn to crystal glass

And all my painful sorrows pass

If in my father's steps I'd walk

And break society's cruel lock

For all my life would my halls ring

Among the few I would be King

If I would soon relight the forge

And fill with treasure this black gorge

Then all the world shall once more see

A blacksmith's works of pure beauty
