Religion

Your religion is not my religion,

as mine is probably not yours.

Celebrities, gossip, and fashion,

could never amount to the passion,

of my religion.

Solemn, proudly audacious, not fake,

so much risk and so much at stake.

An ounce of selfishness remains not in their veins,

Always needed, like a desert needs the rain.

My religion is the unsuspecting thing walking by,

never knowing the gratitude of simply helping me.

Not through fame and fortune is it known,

but discovering it, when you are alone.

My religion can be yours and yours can be mine,

but between reality and a dream is a very fine line.

A religion remains heroic all its life,

from being helpful to a husband or wife.

Religion can be any stranger passing by,

It could be that person, who will care until you die.

Religion can be known in so many ways

My savior raised from the dead in three days
