Religion

Location

Religion is a guiding light,

It helps distinguish what is right.

It gives you hope when there is none,

And allows you to cope, instead of run.

Even in your darkest hour,

From it you can still draw power.

Yet, the question still remains,

And because of it there is pain.

War is started from a belief,

And it's caused nothing more than grief.

We fight for nothing and just gain blood,

While we leave men dead in the mud.

We get to see the pain of a mother,

When their told they've lost another.

Families are being torn and forced to cry,

As heart break and soon after die.

Who is right and who is wrong,

A question that's haunted us all too long.

To tell the truth, I don't care,

As long as there's no more despair.

No one will know until they die,

And they've said their last good bye.

So I leave you with my final words,

Stop the fighting because it's absurd.
