remember

here i am again.

here the fuck i am.

begging for just a sliver of your time.

my head is constantly being filled with

opinions of you,

stories of your betrayal,

comments on my stupidity of letting you in.

but yet my heart screams above it all.

it screams;

"remember?"

remember the happiness?

the laughter?

the weight being lifted off your shoulders?

remember?

do you remember?

i remember the way your eyes lit up

when you got to play your guitar for me.

i remember when we would listen to music until 5 in the morning.

or go on walks until we saw the sun.

i remember when you told me i'd be safe..

and that you'd protect me...

or maybe when you promised a forever?

do you remember?

because now i lay here numb,

all because i remember.

sleepwalkingforever

i tend to write really depressing, triggering shit. it's how i feel from the deepest darkest parts of me, since no one listens this is where i go. fuck off if you can't deal with it.
