Remember the smell of fresh green grass That had just been mowed Remember the wild flowers Who rose their heads and danced to the wind's song Remember the cool breeze That blew across the sky sweeping everything along Remember the smile on mom and dad's face As they watch you walk out the door with your prom date Remember your mom's tears As she watched you take a step towards the light Remember your dad's happy face As he handed his baby girl into the hands of the love of her life Remember the look on your husband's face As you both took your vows together Remember the eyes of your child As you first laid eyes on them Remember the words your love said, "I love you." As he walked towards the path that would take him away from you Remember the scene of that day As you watched the terror happening to your country Remember the lives lost that day As you held your child ever so close in your arms Remember the phone call you got that day As you listened to his last words to you and your child "If I don't make it tell our baby I'm sorry. Tell them I'll be watching over them. And remember this dear, I love you." Remember your child's eyes As they asked "Where's Daddy?" And remember to always answer "He's watching you from above angle."
