Remember

Sensing divisions around one another

Makes me wanna run for cover

Your thoughtless words chasing and beating me down

Until I hear no sound

The past painted in beautiful hues of pink

Are now dark as the color of spilled ink

Your gaze filled with anger and booze

With no memory of our love

Your love fading as an ember

please please remember
