Remember
Dear Thief,
Remember me? the one who you stole from?
Remember me? the one who you lied to?
Remember me? the one who use to love you?
Remember me? the one you chewed and spit out like gum.
Well if you don't remember me, I certainly remember you.
You were the one that walked out with all my stuff.
I remember that cold June night.
The night you made me wince at your sight.
You took my soul and made me forever tough.
If it wasn't for your larcenist ways,
I would still have some things to save.
But you were so determine and I wasn't rough enough.
I would give anything for you to give me my things back.
It was mine, not yours to have.
I wanted it to myself, it was not up for grabs.
I was suppose to determine who ran on my track!
I bet you don't remember.
I know you don't want to remember the thief you are.
I sleep chipper at night knowing.
With a heart like yours you won't make it very far.
One day you'll remember.
One day you'll see
Being a thief isn't all you wanted it to be.
