A whisper 

Quiet in my mind 

Comforting as a fire in the winter

Her smile 

Contagious and kind 

Brings me joy as I remember 

Remember her when all was well

Lost 

The good times in life 

When she was happy 

I sat watching her cook 

The reality that she might be gone 

Had never came along

Until I was left with only my thoughts

The good and the bad
