Remember
Remember it all started out perfect
with every night looking at your brown eyes.
The days turn dark as you lost your respect.
Everything changes, starting with your lies.
I start to feel frustrated and upset
about the things you do without me there.
I know it’s your life and you’re curious,
but don’t burden me because it’s not fair.
Everyone once envy and admire,
the love we use to share with so much gift.
The love that once had us two on fire,
that soon you stop and you had drift away.
It’s been three years with the love we had shared.
The compromises showed we always cared.
