Remember

I remember visiting you every Christmas, Coming to your apartment in Holbrook. There was never enough hours in a day to spend with you, But the time I spent with you was amazing. The days we spent at my house for Thanksgiving dinner. I never said this but I was thankful for such an amazing Grandmother, like you. The day you passed away was a sad day. I tried to hold back my feelings, I wanted to be strong for my parents. The night before the funeral I broke, I couldn’t handle it. The day of your funeral looking at You in your cast, was so hard. That was the last time, I was ever going to see your face in person. You were unable to say anything to me but I know you were happy. Happy and proud of me, I always want to make you proud of me; never want to let you down. The pain and suffering you went threw was gone. You are now in heaven with Papa. Re-united at last. A sad day for me, but happy day for you. We all stood there crying, well you laid there smiling, knowing everything was better. Now your looking down at me, Proud and happy, More than you ever were before, I hope I have graduated High School and now College, Although you never were unable to see it with me, You look down and saw a better angle of it. You are my hero, Angel, Star, And someone I look up to. I love and miss you Nana.
