Remember.

Teachers must be old, I mean they forget an awful lot, Like weren't you once a student, Sitting here in our spot?, I know you hated all the work, The test, quizzes, speaking in class, You once just learned enough from the course just to pass, You tell us "get involved", "Take up a club or two", But then you pile us down with all the work from school. Our minds are going crazy, bodies all insane, and really I feel that teachers are the blame, "You should be a leader, try and do your best", "I know you can do, get an "A" on that test", So off from class we study, go to practice or work, Come home and stay up all night, Get to class late and the teacher's a jerk. Step off just a little, We need a little space, I hate when teachers forget, They were once in our place. Dig deep you will remember, Your precious college years, I bet you'll feel our pain again, And rememer all those tears. I get it, it's your job, To teach us all you can, But take a look and see, We only have two hands. The pressure on us is great, No one to ease the pain, We do the best we can, But no one seems to remember, Were all just puns in the teachers game. You once was here, In the student's seat, head held low, This same game you thought you couldn't beat, your teacher was a jerk, The work load very high, All you wanted was a break, But all you could do was try. Teachers are the worst, When it comes to remembering, Or is it they rejoice in seeing us in a position they once were in. Either way life would be easier, If teachers remembered.
