Remember

Remember the day that no one forgets,

From the senseless deaths

Caused from hatred and war

In our homeland or yonder shore,

Just when will it go away?

The silky - like material waving in air

Full of blue stars and red and white stripes

As we look at this flag of cloth and thread,

You remember a field of crimson…

For the blood that was shed.

Craving for love from your kin

Remembering the cheerful times

You hear the screams of people dying,

Not wanting to.

You see your family melting in the cloud of smoke,

Turning into ashes…

Gradually departing this terror - full world,

Longing to see them one …last… time…

Just once…

Remember the painful deaths…
