Remember Saturday morning cartoons? Before all the evil we now see on the news. Remember the fresh air that filled our lungs? Before we even knew the words that cross our tongues. Remember when curfew was set by the street lights? Before HD graphics enhanced our game fights. Remember regular mail that we used to get? Before mobile devices and our fingertips met. Remember the dates that started around mid-teen? Before our meetings would go through a screen. Remember how you could trust your neighbor? Before we needed to know if the verdict was in our favor. Remember when natural causes were how someone dies? Before the alcohol, drugs, and STD's filled our lives. Remember the respect children had for their parent? Before the children actually became the parent. Remember it now, and please don't forget. Before we continue, and live in regret.
