Remember How To Fly

Someday I’ll look up to realize,

That I’ve remembered how to fly.

I’ll feel gentle wings grow around me,

Spread them out and return to the sky.

Someday I’ll look below me,

and see the pain I’ve left behind.

Watch the fleeting ghosts of sorrow,

I’ve left in the back of my mind.

Someday I’ll feel my heart beat,

Blood will warm and feelings return.

But standing on my own two feet,

Someday I’ll remember how to fly.
