Remember that lie...


Remember that lie...

"I promise I'll never let you go."

Yeah, that one.

I thought I needed you to be happy. 

I thought I needed a guy to tell me who I am.

I figured you'd stay.

I never thought you'd leave.

But maybe I was wrong,

because now...

I'm happier than happy.

I don't want you to hold me.

I don't want you to tell me you miss me.

I don't want nothing more than a friend of you.

But never, will I forget the moments.

I miss you, but I don't need you anymore.

Because forever am I scarred by that one little lie.
