Remember Me

I'm a poet turned rapper.

The alarm before the disaster.

That dog that got tired of being whipped n finally attacked his master.

I'm that hand that slapped the pimp. And made him the hoe.

I'm that man with the map that don't know where to go.

I'm that Ryot in the children's story.

The last words you say before you die for glory.

That thing in your head that caused you pain.

Those tears in your eyes when it rains.

That prey in the jungle that needs to feed.

That condom that broke when you shot your seed.

That bead of sweat that cascades your face when you face your fears.

That street light in your yard after one too many beers.

That one little thing that makes the world go round.

That number in your pants that your mate found.

All these things that you remember.

Now let that be me.

I'm that mute that talks.

The cripple that walks.

The blind man that can see.

I'm the walking dead.

Did u hear what I did?

U don't know me but you will.

Remember me.

As something the world forbid.
