Remember Me?

Hey

I hope you remember me

Because I remember from the back of my heart.

You forgot didn't you?

It's me, the one that you verbally abused everyday,

in my face and behind my back.

You words hurting like the bullets you so happily load in your gun,

not caring that I was only in the 4th grade.

It's me, the one you always give your broken things to,

acting like i was such a reckless kid that doesn't deserve better.

Matter as fact everything was cheap,

Cheap shoes, cheap clothes, cheap gifts

Yo cheap  love!

But I guess you wouldn't remember me.

You were always sleep or always gone at "work".

It sucks that I didn't realize all this before you just left.

Why didn't you just love me.

And not just say it but really do it.

Yeah you laughed a few times, but how long did that last, huh?!

I felt so stupid, everytime you hurt me, my love came back and loved

you even stronger.

You remember me now?

Well now that I'm back into your remembrance, let me just tell you two things.

Thank you, for teaching me what a real man WON'T do.

And I still love you dad.
