Remember Me

Remember me in mid-July

Dancing in the heat waves

Summer stars in the summer sky

Polaroid memories that never fade

Remember me in a November sweater

Throwing orange leaves in the air

Warm spices and good weather

No worries, no cares

Remember me in the December snow

Making angels in the yard

Red noses and our faces glow

Being children was so easy, never difficult, and never hard

Remember me in the April showers

Springs colors on a canvas

Dandy Lions and Sun Flowers

Sweet rain washed away the madness

Remember me will you

Every season of the year

So when I’m gone and you feel blue

My memories will be here
