Remember Me

One day when you are far away,

remember me

remember the way I made you feel

the way you made my heart skip a beat

remember that even though we weren't meant to be

between our first "hi"  and last "googbye",

there was burning love,

our souls drew to eachother like butterflies.

Remember the way you held me for the first time,

your hearbeat quick against my spine,

remember that our worlds were meant to collide,

somewhere along the line of our lives,

remember that everything happens for a reason

even us.

Forget about the world,

just think of my touch

it was real.

Remember that even though you are far away,

I always wanted you to stay,

between every one of my heartbeats, I will call your name,

remember that every morning the sun rises,

presenting us with new chances,

and remember that one day, just maybe one day,

during midnight

our destiny might finally decide,

that it's our time.
