Remember When
Remember when
You texted me for the first time
And it was a joke
But the feelings became real
Someone never made me ever feel
How you made me feel
Remember when
We'd talk for hours on end
FaceTime, phone calls, texting
Pacing for a response right after
I clicked send
Remember when
I gave you my clothes to wear
You stayed the night at my house
And we laid all night on the couch
In the basement
We eventually went up at around 5am
Remember when
We woke up the next morning
I walked you to your car
I wanted to kiss you goodbye
You were iffy about it
You said you had "morning breath"
But I still somehow managed to get one
Remember when
I bought you that vampire weekend
Vinyl for you birthday
I wonder what you ever did with it
Did you ever spin it
Or is it just sitting there collecting dust?
You loved vampire weekend
Remember when
We went to that john Mayer concert?
We sat next to Donna and Molly
Remember when
Donna asked about me and you
Asked about school you go to
and what you want to do
Remember when
She asked me what I wanted to do and what school I went to
I lied and said Louisville
But come to find out
Donna worked there
Haha needless to say I got scared
and I went to the "bathroom" until the concert started
to avoid further conversationm
Remember when
Later that night I wanted to
Go to the park so I could kiss you
We did
Highlight of
My night
I wouldn't change that night
For the world
Despite
The fact that
That night was it
Remember when
You never talked to me again
Who would've thought that
That would be the end
Of all the FaceTime's, phone calls
And text
Thanks to you I was a god damn wreck
And little do you know I still fucking am
You were there making me happy
When I needed it the most
But of course it went wrong
When I needed it the most
So thank you
I hope you remember these things
I don't want them to be
Pointless nor meaningless
But then again they probably are
But for me
It's a permanent scar
on my arm
From where I
Cut too far
I hope you look back
I hope reminisce
and you
remember when
