# Remember When
This world makes promises it can't keep, writes checks it can't cash.
I remember the sound peace you offered me, the grease in your hair, the smell of loud in your nose, and more of it in your stash.
It seems the clock ticks louder since you aren't here there is a void that is filled by tedious sounds and it drives me crazy.
It seems that the lights glow dinner since you aren't near I think they’ve just gotten lazy.
I miss the nights we used to lay close with nothing in between us but space and opportunity.
The nights were our passion and lust joined forces in sweet sweet unity.
