Remembering

Every year I take a long drive To my place of peace When I get there I know that it's all worth it The time there is a sad one But It's spent with the one's I love The days spent on the beach forgetting all my troubles I celebrate the life of my father on his birthday I lie on the hammock alone To think That one week in OBX Seems to last only an hour
