remembering

reflecting upon the darkness,

sipping on past experiences

remembering and aching

because the two more-often-than-not

go hand-in-hand

...

the memories are so

bittersweet

yet there is a peace

about what has passed

and about what is to come

deeply longing for something

still unknown to us

so we linger in this place

and hope to gain an audience with

You
