Remembrance

Ceiling fan spin faster and faster, Reaching to the point of hypnosis leaving my soul in a trance As my mind becomes blank, memories begin to stain like plain sheets Injecting my brain with flashes of the deceased, the pain becomes overwhelming like victory being conquered by defeat, As darkness starts to swallow my existence, love and happiness reels me back into reality like a big sigh of relief.
