Remembrance

Once upon a time a boy sat alone in his castle
His Mother dead, his Father at war
With only roses to remember them by
And a raw pain in his heart

His Mother dead, his Father at war
He was alone to face the stranger at his door
Then a raw pain in his heart
When his body transformed

He was alone to face the stranger at his door
A girl who would change his life
Then his body transformed
As he held her close

The girl who had changed his life
With only roses to remember her by
He had held her close
Once upon a time a man sat alone in his castle
