reminder

Roses are black.

Black velvet guarded by thorns.

They remind me of you.

You are beautiful. Graceful.

Unapproachable.

When I am near you I must be careful.

A wrong movement, touch

And I will bleed.

Small painful stabs of

anger hatred.

And yet I would welcome that pain

Since I would be able to

Hold you

Admire you

Breathe your scent again.

smooth velvet sharp pain black rose

picking petals.
