A Reminder

Just remember,

As  tears stream endlessly down your face, while you indulge in laughter

someone out there is drowning in theirs, tears a displayment of their sorrow.

While you are cocooned in thick velvet covers, seeking refuge from brisk weather,

someone out there is walking barefooted and unsheltered on icy concrete.

 While you  snuggle with a good book,

for someone out there, a book at all can cause them their life!

As you wine and dine on hot soups and sweet potatoe pies

someone out there is rummaging through dumps, in hopes of finding left overs.

Where there is love for you,

There is void  for someone else.

As you inhale and exhale at the sweet scent of spring lilies and blossoms

Just remember...

someone out there is shouting " I cant breathe!"
