A Reminder.
The post-it sits on the wrinkled notebook paper;
A messy array of pink yellow gold purple aquamarine
A colorful way to start the day,
Reminders dispersed throughout, cute little words
Sketches and doodles by friends
“I love you” - a secret admirer?
“Take care, sweetie, XOXO mom.”
Reminders - “7:00 PM basketball tournament”
Kitchen lists, study notes, funny messages and pictures
Drawn in a study break with friends.
Our days are fueled by post-it notes,
A written list of expectations
(our life is the basis of expectations)
Yearning to be accomplished
Captured vis-a-vis chicken scrawl
The written word on a post-it note.
