Reminder
Dear Me,
I do not understand
nor do I think I will ever,
Your motivations.
You
Are driven by the wishes of others
That somehow you do not fufill?
Yet
You can overcome the mountains
You have touched the sky
On broken
Sick
Wings
And despite flying so close to the sun
You
Did not fall.
But you are unforgivable?
For some sin you do not recall?
Dear Self,
You think too highly of those around you
Even the gods of greece ate their children
and cheater their kin.
The mighty fall
and the underdog wins?
The underdog wins.
Dear self,
Youve done good.
