A Reminder
I use to think poetry would heal me. Of my hurt. pain. present and future. It didn't.
I had given up on it, not questioning it's power and force on me.
But it changed me as I grew up, becoming more of myself. Making me a stronger individual, like a rock within the wind.
Poetry is my medicine, for life's casualities. I trust it, protect it like it is my child.
A child of mine, I cannot deny. It taught me many things, so live and to fly.
