Reminisce

Wandering up the road

I heard the sounds of snow.

I felt the footsteps under me,

Yet they made no noise.

The soundproof room enclosed on me,

I was the only one. The darkness,

Then, felt not so dark; The earth was

Doused in white. I could not move,

I did not speak, for I was like a tree.

A single minute then had passed,

But I had felt a year.

We think not of these simple times

Until the moment fades. Only when the

Challenges come to light do we

Reminisce.
