Let me take you back on a time machine of sorts Let us go back to the year 2004 Remember all the things they had on tv Back then that black box used to engulf me Remember the orange VHS tapes, I do without a doubt I'm still here wondering, "who let the dogs out!!" Remember when we used to chill with the Kids Next Door And when Fosters Home came on at around 4 Remember when Rudy got the chalk, so he got the power And I can't forget watching Jimmy and Timmy for an entire hour What about The Incredibles, or the Spongebob movie Remember during recess when it was ok to be goofy Remember how easy it was back then to make friends Looking back you wish these moments would never end ...................................................................................................... Ok now let's head to the year 2005 When we figured out the Avatar was still alive Remember all those hurricanes, those were scary Damn at this time I wish we all had some Fairy's Back then Nickelback and Gwen Stefani were big And Kanye told us about women who liked to gold dig Fast forward a bit, now I got to move schools I remember when it was fun to be the class fool Y'all remember heely's and cranking that soulja boy Do y'all remember the Xbox, and that rip stick toy I remember Naruto, that was my guilty pleasure It was like a contagious disease, and I had no cure And what about all those parties for my birthday Man we had so much fun at the end of May Times were so simple and fun back then Sometimes I wish those moments would never end ................................................................................................... Now I'm in middle school, watching WWE I'm starting in band, this is exciting for me Y'all remember the music back in 2011 It was absolute fire, this must be heaven High School coming up, let's see how it goes Now I really got to deal with my raging hormones I'm gonna stay in band, I'll see it to the end So I can make new great memories with all of my friends Met a lot of new people, had a lot of fun Those football games were lit under the hot sun The years went by quick, the time almost finished But these moments are things I'll never diminish Through the years I've made a lot of great memories And I want to thank all the people who shared them with me There's way too many people out there I could name Without y'all, my life would never be the same My childhood was quick, it went by in a swing And looking back at it, I wouldn't change a thing There were no times ever better than this And this is how I reminisce
