Reminiscing

Look into my eyes. What do you see? Is it the deep blue sea which allures you into the dark shallow abyss? Look more intensely. It is not the case in which you see the surface of nothingness. Keep looking, search out, I am reaching out for that last gasp of air. Stop, hold...I breathe and yet I am still gasping for air. I reach out even further but I am not still satisfied. Are you not searching for me? Keep looking, search me out, what do you see? What are you looking for? I reach out further and.....touch! I feel a ray of warmth, I am rushing out Plato's cave. Reality, I am alive! What do you see? Ordinary flesh? A sentiment mortal whom comprehends, has passion. Look into my eyes yet again and you see a figure in which you put hopes on. Reality is one in which one can see, but blind I am for being pulled out of the dark abyss.
