Remnants

How many times do I have to die, before I am allowed to live?
I slip further into the shadows and grasp the idea that...

I’m no longer needed, wanted

or welcomed by those who I have spent my whole life loving

so shove me in a corner and pretend that I am gone

Dear God how many times do I have to die, before I'm allowed to live.
