Remorse

Children laughing calling me to smile

Making me realize it's been a while

It's the way that they run around and play

Reminds me of how I did that some days

There wasn't any weight on our shoulders

But now it's like your'e carrying boulders

We used to want to stay up and not sleep

Now, it's our escape from reality

I used to think that homework was tricky

Man I wish I was a lot less picky

I watch as the children swing on the swings

Makes me wish I had more time for those things

We used to have fun and play made-up games

All we do is rely tech. these days
