repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat

i thought if i could break the loop,

if i could take the broken record and smash it,

if i could stop the endless noise,

if i could hear anything else, anything,

if i could have a second of peace,

i would feel better.

but i’m wondering now if the silence is worse.
